Songwriter

As a songwriter, I focus on refining the poetic quality of my lyrics, often crafting verses that are introspective and resonate with universal themes. Sometimes inspired by a well of traditional narratives, at other times by the issues of current society, I am drawn to exploring emotionally climactic moments. The arrangements I create are vividly painted, sometimes incorporating elements of noir jazz and funky grooves, or drawing from Balkan motifs and cinematic undertones. While playing a significant share of the instruments featured on my albums, I collaborate with the members of the Acart band, as well as many guest vocalists and instrumentalists.
